8 weeks of support and accountability for women who’ve tried everything:
Feel confident in yourself, enjoy nourishing food and feel in control.
Stop the struggle and rewire your brain for a genuinely healthy balance.
Build a lasting relationship with food that feels balanced and “normal”, so you can finally feel good in your body, confident in yourself, and care less about what others think.

Food should be enjoyable, nourishing fuel for the life you want and the way you want to feel.
The Befriend Your Body Circle is the programme where women who know what they should be doing, retrain their brain to want healthy food they actually enjoy so they can feel comfortable and confident in themselves, without falling back into old habits when life gets busy.
By the end of the first week, you’ll have started turning down the inner critic who’s been leading the show for far too long, with a kinder voice already emerging. In 8 weeks, you’ll have the tools to feel good in your body and a firm foundation to carry into the New Year.
The run-up to Christmas is a busy time with all the temptation and pressure around social opportunities, so you’ll be supported by like-minded women who get it and personalised coaching from me, during a time when you might be more likely to have wobbles.

Helen
“I’m more confident and it’s given me the freedom to enjoy other areas of my life”
“Before Befriend Your Body, I was always trying the next thing and assumed it wouldn’t work because the others hadn’t. Or the things I’d tried had worked temporarily but when life threw a curveball, I went into default mode and found comfort in food. It wasn’t addressing the root of everything.
This was the only thing that I hadn’t tried – actually focusing on this as the issue and the noise around it. Not just putting a sticky plaster over it which is what all the other plans were doing. I hadn’t thought about it that way.
I was really unhappy and it was ‘well, if it’s not going to work, I can at least tick it off as tried’ and ‘why not, what’s the worst that’s going to happen? I’m just going to be in the same space in 3 months but I also might not be’. I just knew I couldn’t keep going on like that. I wanted to do something different.
Because I knew what was healthy. I knew what I should do. The thing that changed from doing the Befriend Your Body programme was that it wasn’t like a tick box exercise.
I actually now want to eat more veg and fruit more frequently. And I recognise that food was a tool I was using. When it was a really bad day, it was ‘what can I reach for… the biscuits’. Understanding that was probably the biggest shift I had.
It’s a great place to recognise where all of the things you’ve been doing have shaped and dictated what you do now, and that doesn’t have to be the same.
It has given me the freedom to enjoy other areas of my life as I am not consumed with thoughts of food and my body.
I’m more confident. I don’t really think about clothes and how they fit, just what is comfy and what I like. It felt impossible before, but now I leave food on a plate and I don’t have to finish everything. I think about food for meals and because I enjoy it, but nothing more and I also recognise when I’m full and hungry and notice when my body is telling me.
You know what you should be doing and you can do it for a few weeks.
But right now:
You’ve tried everything
You’ve tried absolutely every single blinking thing going! Anything you felt was going to do the trick but you’re constantly regaining the same weight you’ve lost and feel like a failure. So you assume nothing will work because it hasn’t before.
When life gets busy and stressful, your focus diminishes
When you’re busy and work has been stressful, you’re either snacking all the time or you get so caught up in work that you’re like, “sh*t, I haven’t eaten”. You need a healthier, consistent balance.
Food noise is loudest when you’re out for dinner with friends or colleagues
You’re done with waiting to see what everyone else orders whilst your brain is doing mental gymnastics calculating “is everyone having a really big meal? Because if they’re all having salads and I’m gonna have a burger, they’ll think ‘what a fat pig’”. You want to rock up, order what you fancy, eat what you want and then crack on with life!
You’re constantly thinking about food & your body
It feels like you’ve worked really hard to have a better relationship with food and on one hand it’s better than it was in the past, but there are still challenges. It still feels like a silent, but annoying commentary and you crave respite to turn the noise off.
You’ve become very clever at hiding
Your choice of clothes is no longer what you would associate with you. You love a baggy jumper because it hides everything and you end up just wearing the same things to cover everything up. It’s impacting your choice of clothes and what you feel good in. You’ve not felt good in anything for a very long time.
It feels like you were getting somewhere and now you’re surrounded by weight loss injections and it’s like “whoa, it’s noisy in my head!”
It feels like the narrative has now flipped to “why aren’t you on the jabs?” You’re surrounded by weight loss injections but you feel like you should be able to manage without them. You want to get control of emotional eating naturally and regain a sense of well-being.
Most programmes give you an eating plan and exercise regime for a quick fix, but they don’t rewire your brain to think differently so you feel more in control and confident in yourself.

The Befriend Your Body Circle is where food becomes nourishing, enjoyable fuel, and you feel more at peace with yourself.
This isn’t spending money on yourself. This is changing the way your kids learn to see themselves too.
A lot of women struggle because they feel like they should be able to control themselves or that their struggles ‘aren’t as bad’ as everybody else’s. There’s a lot of guilt and shame around food and it can be hard to think “I am worth this investment”.
When Dove asked mothers and daughters to list what they liked and disliked about their bodies, the daughters’ lists were exactly the same as their mums’. This isn’t just for you. It’s for them too.
We’re not faffing about with counting calories for 8 weeks, then reverting back to old habits. We’re retraining your brain to behave in a balanced way.
You know enough about fitness and nutrition but it’s not working, is it? That’s because knowing has never been the problem. Each week we’ll use the T.U.R.N. Framework, my 4-step process to retrain the brain with NLP tools in a warm space so you find enjoyable balance and feel healthier because you’re not stuck in ‘all-or-nothing’ thinking anymore. You’ll get the foundations to keep building on in the New Year and personalised support that gets tailored according to how you’re getting on.
No more “I just need to plan meals better”. We’re giving you the tools that mean even without a plan, you feel in control and on track.
In the first few weeks, you’ll get clearer than ever before on what’s really behind the food noise: the stories that come with food, why they keep rearing their ugly head and what you actually need to stop food from being a coping mechanism. You’ll come away with your own unique reference manual, jam packed with your data and tools to support you going forward. It’s built by shedding light on the deeply honest, raw elements in your shadows that get in the way of having the most beautiful and vital relationship you could ever have… the one with your own body.
We’re not just sticking a plaster over it so that it works for 8 weeks. We’re rewiring your brain to think differently long-term, which you can’t do through exercise and an eating plan alone.

Rachel
“It’s given me the freedom to be myself”
“When I joined the Befriend Your Body programme, I’d tried Slimming World, jabs, cabbage soup, Cambridge diets, LighterLife. Absolutely blinking every single thing going! Calorie control… just drinking cup of tea till midnight, intermittent fasting. Anything I felt was going to do the trick – lose weight.
I didn’t want to go back on the jabs. I wanted to do something more slowly, carefully and I knew I wanted something to help me with my body issues and self-esteem. I was absolutely desperate and felt like I’d failed because I’d regained the weight I’d lost.
Since the programme, I am definitely kinder to myself. I listen to those voices and identify what’s helpful to me. I don’t seek approval. I don’t ever apologise for myself. I don’t see food as the enemy anymore. I see it as ‘that looks delicious let’s have some of that’ and if we’re out and I want something, I’ll have it. And I won’t beat myself up and starve myself the next day, so it’s a massively different mindset.
I’m wearing clothes that fit that I feel comfortable in and I’m going and doing stuff that makes me happy!
It’s given me the freedom to be myself. That’s the most powerful thing that’s come out of it. It’s a change of mindset to discover who you are and enjoy being you, which I’ve never had before. It’s been very freeing.”
Eight weeks from now, this is your life:
You walk into the Christmas party feeling light and confident, without worrying what others think of you.
You open the fridge and actually want to eat more fruit and veg.
You feel more comfortable and confident in yourself, which spills over into you being more confident at work, in your personal life and in the clothes you want to wear.
You feel in control knowing that you’re doing the right thing for your physical health by giving yourself what you need.
When you catch up with friends for dinner, you rock up, order what you fancy, eat the food, enjoy it, feel nourished and move on!
You feel healthier because you make healthier food choices and have consistent balance, which makes you appreciate your body more.
Food is enjoyable fuel and you feel more joy around day-to-day meals.
You’re more decisive and in control and you’ve got a firm foundation built going into the New Year.
This is what it feels like to Befriend Your Body.
What are we doing then?
The Befriend Your Body Circle is an 8 week programme to rewire your brain to want healthy food you actually enjoy and feel confident, without chasing quick fixes.
How it works:
Your personalised deep dive diagnostic
The first thing you do when you join is your deep dive diagnostic, the same one I use to start every 1-2-1 programme, using a guided template. You’ll come out of that short exercise knowing exactly what your goals are, where you’d really like to be, and the roadblocks that have got in the way in the past.
Most importantly, you’ll start to recognise where all of the things you’ve been doing have shaped and dictated what you do now. You’ll see why you keep slipping back into default mode when life gets busy, and why the diets that “worked” never stuck.
From there, you’ll have your own three ‘buckets’ or themes to work towards over the 8 weeks. You can keep them just for you, or share them with me on Voxer so I can tailor my support to exactly what you’re working on. It’s completely up to you.
Those three themes become your guiding star for the whole 8 weeks, so from day one you know exactly what to focus on.
Support that’s personalised & tailored to you, every weekday
This is what makes the Befriend Your Body Circle different from any group you’ve tried before. You will get the personalised, tailored support of 1-2-1 coaching, inside a small group.
Monday to Friday, you can send me a voice note or text on Voxer, a private app that works a bit like WhatsApp. When a thought pops up, a meal out has you spiralling, or you want to celebrate a win, you don’t have to wait until next week. You’ll get feedback from me that’s tailored to your needs, not everyone’s.
As you go, your programme gets tweaked according to how you’re getting on. So the tools you’re using are the right ones for your life, your triggers and your busiest moments.
Weekly group coaching so you’re never figuring this out on your own
Sometimes you can get stuck feeling like you’re the only person in the world who’s got these thoughts and that it’s always just been you whilst everyone else seems fine. But when you’re with like-minded women, you realise that it is actually quite normal.
Every week on Zoom, I’ll be leading you through live group coaching. Bring your questions or simply enjoy listening as each week we’ll work through the T.U.R.N. Framework. It’s an opportunity to learn in a safe space where everyone gets it.
Can’t make a session? Every one is recorded, so even in a busy week, you’ll always catch up and you’ve got me keeping you accountable to follow through with it!
Tools that actually stick for a firm foundation in the New Year
Knowing what to do has never been your problem, has it? But doing it when life gets busy or stressful is. That’s when it’s fallen apart in the past.
So each week you’ll get simple tasks, prompts and resources, that will allow you to actually rewire your brain to think differently. You’ll gather your own unique book of tools that are practical and easy to slot into your day. There are no 45-minute meditations or diet plans, and week by week, the new way of thinking will become your default, rather than something you tried once and forgot.
Homework that you won’t ghost
This is your way to gain control and relearn habits that’ll help you manage your attitude to food better. We will take you from ‘doing it for 8 weeks and then my focus dissolves’ to feeling genuinely confident walking out of the house come Christmas.
We’ll use creative, unique tools to stop the patterns, be kinder to yourself and use different terminology to reframe your brain to think differently so you feel good in your body and balanced with more enjoyment around food.
Circle community and coaching on the go
Move through the “I had a wobbleeeee and my tool needs some adjustmenttttt” moments in real time. Sense check, stop the spiral and get back on track with the people around you, and get detailed coaching from me every weekday, in our community hub on Voxer. In a small group of women, that togetherness will give you a connection for afterwards, too.

Three types of women who join the Befriend Your Body Circle:
Great at knowing what to do, but it falls apart when life is busy/stressful:
You know enough about fitness and nutrition, but feel like it’s more to do with how you’re feeling in other aspects of life. You don’t have a problem with understanding what is healthy, that bit is pretty simple. It’s when life gets busy or stressful that you’ll just grab something and that’s frustrating because that’s when you think “ok, I’ll try again tomorrow” and then you go through it again.
Great at trying everything, but nothing’s ever stuck:
You’ve tried every diet going. Weight Watchers, Slimming World, calorie counting, intermittent fasting. Absolutely blinking every single thing going! You haven’t just laid back and done nothing about it. You’ve put in the hard yards, but all of the things you’ve tried have been “a bit alright”, and now you’re always trying the next thing, assuming it won’t work because the others haven’t. Some days you wonder if you’re just broken.
Great at looking after everyone else, but you’re always bottom of the pile:
You spend a lot of time sorting everyone else out and you struggle to think “I am worth this investment” because you feel like it’s something you should be able to control yourself. But if someone said “you need to pay this for your kids”, you wouldn’t hesitate.
Whichever one you are, the Befriend Your Body Circle is designed to help you feel more confident in yourself and enjoy food again, so you can get back to having a life where food isn’t controlling you.
You’ll actually want to eat fruit and veg more frequently which means you’ll naturally feel better in your body and it opens up new ways to appreciate it.

The Befriend Your Body Circle Vibe:
You walk into the Christmas party feeling light and confident, ready to engage with everyone in the room.
You enjoy food, feel nourished and move on, in control and knowing you’re doing the right thing for your health.
![Screenshot of a client message: Didn’t think any of this would have been possible 6 months ago, done it a few times now and I’m just allowing myself to eat without guilt or panicking about whether my wedding dress will fit etc. Definitely relaxing into love and relaxing into the love of [name hidden] as well.](https://i0.wp.com/kirstymckell.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/10-1024x1024.jpg?ssl=1)

Autumn
“My friends started noticing. It brought back my love for life!”
“I was extremely apprehensive… There were moments where I had convinced myself nothing was working, it was a waste of time, nothing helps, this is me forever!
I joined the Befriend Your Body Circle, which opened my eyes to other women feeling this way, that I wasn’t the ‘only one’.
I couldn’t have got through my wedding without Befriend Your Body. I was at a point where I was going to cancel my photographer, but I was able to stand there proud and go, ‘these photos are nothing to do with my body, they are capturing a moment in time where I am loved and showing love’, which I have waited a long, long time for.
My friends started noticing, my partner started noticing, that I was changing in a positive light. I didn’t have meltdowns when social events were happening… Now I’m able to challenge myself and say ‘no, we won’t take that spiral today’.
It brought back my love for life and living. Just do it, you will not regret it.”
The T.U.R.N. Framework
Our unique framework is how you’ll rewire your brain. Through 4 core foundations, weekly homework to take part in, plus the tools you’ll be using for years afterwards. Befriend Your Body will help you find enjoyable balance and confidence in yourself by retraining the brain with NLP tools in a warm, safe space.
PLUS: you can listen to all lessons on replay, if you know you’re not gonna be able to join live.

SARAH
“It was effective even on days I didn’t think it was.”
“I have challenged myself and my thoughts in ways I didn’t think were possible. Sometimes the homework was uncomfortable or challenging, but so beneficial. We never strived for perfection. I learnt how to be kind to myself on days I didn’t want to be.”
The T.U.R.N. Framework
01. Tune In
Before we change anything, we zoom right out and look at the big picture of where you are right now. You’ll complete your deep dive diagnostic, the same one I use with my 1-2-1 clients, looking at:
- Your goals: what you actually want from your relationship with food and your body
- Where you’d like to be: what life looks and feels like when food is enjoyable fuel
- Your roadblocks: what’s got in the way every time before, so we can work with them this time
You’ll come away with your own three ‘buckets’ or themes that will be your north star for the next 8 weeks.
02: Understand
Knowing what’s healthy is one thing. Understanding why it all falls apart when life gets busy is what changes things. We look at:
- Where it comes from: the food rules and beliefs you picked up from family and diet culture, so you can see it’s not your fault
- Food as a tool: recognising when you’re reaching for food as a coping mechanism, and what you actually need in that moment instead
- Your patterns: the all-or-nothing, “start again on Monday” cycle, and why life’s curveballs send you into default mode
- The stories that come with food: the “good” and “bad” labels and the “am I being naughty?”, and where they really come from
Including the Warning Light tool, so you can spot the early signs before the spiral starts.
03: Reframe
What turns “I know better” into “I actually want to”? We’ll retrain the thoughts behind it, which is where we’ll use NLP tools to:
- Reframe the harsh self-talk: including the creative inner critic exercise, where you meet the critic who’s been running the meeting and give a kinder voice a seat at the table
- Interrupt the pattern in the moment: so you can say “no, we won’t take that spiral today”
- Build your replacement levers: your own toolkit of things to reach for that give you what you actually need
So you get to cultivate the most important relationship you have… the one with your body.
04: Nurture
Whether it’s the Christmas party, the tin of chocolates on the side or the “new year, new me” adverts, this is where we’ll nurture your new relationship with food and your body so it sticks in the long term.
You’ll create your own plan, so you’ve got your ‘armour’ ready. We’ll invite enjoyment back into your life, practise being kind to yourself (because there won’t be perfect days, but there can be kind days), and set you up so the feeling of love for your body keeps building long after week 8.

KATE
“I am very pleased I invested in myself.”
“I was sat in my miserableness. I thought I was broken. I knew I couldn’t stay where I was. I thought ‘you could start today, or you could be in the same position you’re in in 3 months’. And I was like, ‘yeah actually, I could give it a go or I could just be here in 3 months. Do I want to be here in 3 months? No.’
It’s freeing. It changes your mindset into not being so all consumed by things that have consumed you before. You do the things that you didn’t realise all the thoughts of food had stopped you doing, like read books, or hang out with your family.
I am very pleased I invested in myself. I’m very glad I did. You should do the Befriend Your Body programme.”

“I have the freedom to be myself”
“I’m now kinder to myself. I have the freedom to be myself. I don’t seek approval, and it’s a very personalised programme, and the warmth and the honesty and your manner helped me get to where I am.”

Hey, I’m Kirsty,
I’ve always been the one to speak up when something’s wrong.
I’m a food and body image coach and NLP Practitioner, and I’ve supported hundreds of women through my workshops and programmes.
For years, my relationship with food and my body dictated my life. I hid in my clothes, terrified that anyone would see my body for what it really was. I put my life on hold, convinced it would be better if I was ‘skinny’. I avoided relationships because I was so ashamed of myself. And I was always trying the next thing. It was all or nothing, every single time.
Then I had a moment where I realised my thoughts were perhaps a lie. I just didn’t know how to change them. I’d been so consumed by thoughts of food and my body that it felt normal. I thought everybody else thought the same way. But, of course, they didn’t.
That’s where my healing began. Now I’ve come out the other side, life is much more joyful and colourful and I want every woman to experience that freedom and confidence.
Because when you know how to build a healthy, nourishing balance, you in turn start to feel good in your body and confident to wear the clothes you want to wear.
I’ve got to know who I authentically am again and I’ve got the confidence to be myself, which has been long-standing for years now. I’m present to enjoy meals with friends and family. I order the food I fancy and stop eating when I’m full. I crave my spinach and fruit smoothies every morning, because my brain has relearnt its habits around food and I enjoy a little bit of chocolate and put the rest of the bar away. And every bit of that has come from rewiring the patterns around food and my body. It’s given me a freedom and joy I didn’t think was possible!
That’s what I’m here to help you find.

DEBBIE
“Like having a coffee with your best friend”
“The Befriend Your Body programme is like having a coffee with your best friend, but your best friend is this oracle of knowledge with wonderful analogies for life. It’s constant ‘aha’ moments of ‘huh, I didn’t think of it that way before’… It’s like a big hug as well, but from you to you.”
MICHELLE
“Your warm manner and kindness made me feel comfortable”
“You were very straightforward, but in a very calm and warm way that made me feel comfortable to have honest, open conversations”

FAQs
Q: I’ve struggled for what feels like forever. How do I know this will be different?
A: Everything you’ve tried before has been about what to eat. This is different: it uses NLP tools designed to rewire how your brain thinks about food. As Helen put it, other programmes “were putting a sticky plaster over a broken leg.” And let’s be honest… you’ll never know until you actually try.
Q: I find it hard to justify spending money on myself.
A: Sooo many women say this, but this isn’t “spending money on yourself”. This is changing the environment your kids grow up in, and the way they learn to see themselves too. There’s a reason you’ve struggled with this and it’s not your fault, but it is your responsibility and I’m here to help you break the pattern.
Q: Will this make me focus on my body more?
A: The opposite – you’ll spend less time thinking about food and your body, and have more brain space for everything else.
Q: I don’t really like groups. Do I have to share or can I work with you one-to-one?
A: You don’t need to share anything you don’t want to. You’re welcome to listen and join in only when it feels right. Whatever’s shared in the group stays in the group. And for anything you’d rather keep private, you’ve got me on Voxer, just between us.
There is also a one-to-one version of this work available at £300 a month over three months. It’s a more personalised, intensive experience for women who want to do this outside of a group environment. Drop me a message on Instagram if that sounds more like you and we can have a chat about whether it’s the right fit.
Q: Who is this for?
A: Women who’ve tried everything and who don’t struggle with knowing what’s healthy but find it falls apart when life gets busy or stressful and who’d love to feel confident in themselves and enjoy food again.
Q: How much time will this take?
A: One live session a week on Mondays at 7pm for 60 mins, plus small weekly tasks that are easy to put into practice and integrate into your day.
Q: What if I can’t make the live calls?
A: That’s ok, every session is recorded so you can catch up in your own time and you’ll have my personalised support on Voxer throughout.
Q: Is this therapy?
A: No. This is not therapy or more things to ‘get right’. This is coaching to relearn the most important relationship you have – the one with yourself. It isn’t a replacement for medical or psychological support.
Q: What happens after the 8 weeks?
A: You’ll have your tools and a unique framework that you’ll be able to use forever and you’ll also get the bonus check-in to give you a firm foundation that sticks.

The era of “I’ll start again on Monday” is over.
You don’t need another plan to follow, another app to track or another diet to try. You’ve done the hard yards. And deep down, you always knew that the ‘this quick fix will change your life forever’ vibe felt a bit too good to be true.
In Befriend Your Body I’d much rather support you whilst you create change that lasts.
You get to finally feel good in your body again by enjoying nourishment and feeling more in control.
